Welcome to my website, where you will find more about me and my commitment to assist individuals and families through comprehensive psychological support and assessment. My approach is centred on the belief that every individual has unique strengths and potential that, when properly identified and nurtured, can lead to remarkable growth and success. I believe in a holistic, collaborative approach that considers the whole person within their family, school, and community context. I work with children, adolescents, couples, individuals and families to identify strengths, address challenges, and strive to create pathways for success that enhance the individual's unique learning and development.
About Me
I am a family-oriented person who believes that family is where life begins and love never ends. I was entrusted with the early parenting of my two younger siblings at a young age in my life. Looking back, it felt challenging at the time, but now I realize that even parenting my own children is potentially the most rewarding experience, providing opportunities for learning and personal growth greater than in any other role or relationship. I am intensely interested in family systems and their role in human development.
I have always been focused on people, seeking to understand them and how they learn and develop, their behaviour and thinking, how they navigate relationships, and what motivates them. Being in this helping profession, I am passionate about education and learning – not only limited to academic or school-type learning, but that which enables us to live our best lives: optimizing our development and ability to adapt and thrive in our world.
My career began in the Department of Basic and Higher Education, where I gained valuable experience before qualifying and transitioning to work as an Educational Psychologist. In my practice, I work with children and parents, families and individuals in a variety of contexts, facilitating growth and change.
